whats up my people, new to the board. I need to know whats the best way to record my songs from an mpc200xl-mcd to a cd without a computer or software as i need to make a beat cd. Right now all i have is a brand new mpc with a pair of akg headphones. Thanks

You'll need to buy a Mixer, a Finalizer, some monitors, and a stand alone CD burner.

That way your Beats will be Mastered a little, and sound better than straight off the MPC.

It's like a over all EQ, Compressor, Mastering peice of gear.
It's nice to finish up and polish a mix, It'll take the music to another level.
Since your just starting you probably won't need anything like that for a while.

You could go with a multitrack digital recorder from Roland, Yamaha, Fostex.
One that has a CD Burner built right in, and keep it all Hardware.
