Overview and step by step guide to midi sync on 2k

There are some topics covering the setup for 1k, some covering setting mpc as a slave...but i really couldn't find one for setting 2k as a master - if it is possible, oc

My point is getting Cubase LE(!) and Ableton Live Lite(!) - notice they're both limited versions - synchronized as a slave to the MPC 2k....so far i managed to slave the mpc from cubase....

Live Lite's sync function is not active, so i guess it's out of question, correct me if im wrong...

Reason i think 2k could do the master is the fact it has Sync Out option in MIDI/SYNC menu... if i misunderstood this function, please correct me

So can i get the LE slaved? If someone has the knowledge and the time for covering the problem in step-by-step guide, please come up with it, if not, any other contribution is welcome

why would you want the mp as the master? if your tracking out to cubase it would be easier to have it as the master.

I believe i understand what your trying to do is this but what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

i want my mpc to do the sequences and to use the pc like sound module only...and to trigger cubase with play button on mpc....

PS i know that what i want to be explained is not what i need to do, but i still think this is something that is useful to know....coz there are many ways to connect the machines, getting different result...
