I found the cause of "The Click of Death" for external zips.

Can anyone else confirm this? I've got one for a 60 but it's never worked. I'd love to get it going! And I know that I can use a card reader, but it's not exactly cheap or easy to get a hold of, so if I could get the zip going I'd be stoked!

Your other option would be the external card reader I found them at http://www.scsiforsamplers.comfor around $100. The internal card reader for 2k classic is possible, but I think you have to cut a small piece off your motherboard which sounds like blasphemy to me.
