Win98 destroying MPC2000 files

I did a back up of my MPC2000 floppys on a PC runing W98 and now my MPC can't read the files. Apparantly this is a known problem but alas I wasn't clued in. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. And people I'm a Mac man so if you need to muck about on a DOS level I'm gonna need step-by-step instructions.

Smae thing happen to me years ago..it has something to do with the name of the sounds being more then I believe 10 characters get totally whacked and things are downhill from thier...I was only able to salvage 35% of the shit i did because the process to get it all normal again was too long...Sorry to hear that.

Check with the MPC Editor software at www.midicase.com.
