what do you call"SCSI port"....is it the wire,the interface?

yeah it should have a scsi port on the back. you must mean the cable. I would go to scsiforsamplers.com they got all that $hit

I apologize. What I mean is where can I get a replacement or repairs from?
The one I have (the port, connection, etc.) on the mpc has a short in it.
