yo how can i conect a mixer between my turntable and mpc2kxl

Yo... i was wondering if it is possible if i can connect a mixer between my turntable and Mpc2000xl, so that i can fix the sound of my sample.?? it would be like this (( TURNTABLE,sample---->MIXER---->MPC2000xl)) and wat Mixer would Be compatable for this kinds setup??? what mixer would suggets if possible??!!! thanks man....

Yes you can connect a mixer between it. You should already be using a mixer wit your TT now UNLESS it has a built in preamp. But connect your TT to the Mixer. Then take the Mixer OUTS to the RECORD IN on your MPC and do what u gotta do. The type of mixer to get is totally up to you. Just go play around wit a few if u can. But I would recommend ne thing by Mackie, Behringer(some will disagree), or Alesis.
