Troubleshoot internal Zip250 install on MPC2kXL MCD

I was trying to replace the MCD drive with a Zip. It's an iOmega ATAPI drive. All the cabling seemed to match up perfectly but it didn't recognize it. Any thoughts?

You must have a lot of music previously done on a zip disk cause there's no other reason to do this it's bassackwards.

Make sure the zip jumper in the back is the same as the mcd jumper in the back.

There's a lot of reasons.

My clients move from studio to studio to work. All the rentals we get have Zip drives. None of the major studios or rental companies use MPC's with MCD.

The jumper's the problem I think. Thanks.

I would just get an external zip drive then, so you have both.Although I can see where problems might arise if your doing rentals.
