transport sequences & songs from the mpc to a computer

hy fellas im new here!! help me with my problem please!!
how can I connect my mpc2000xl to my computer to transport sequences or songs. it is necesarry a auidio card or a console for do that!!

im sure your computer has a sound card in it. well, your soundcard should have an input on it. where ever your sound is coming from (ie. from your mpc, your mixer, etc..) use the output/s from that into your soundcard input and record your music.

if you're thinking about tracking your beats out then you may need a midi interface so you can sync your mpc with your computer so it stays on time, but thats all you have to do.

my old stock soundcard that came with the computer used 1/8" and your mpc uses 1/4"

1/4" to 1/8" cable



1/4" is the big plug like the one on most of your gear (i.e. your MPC).
1/8" is the small plug like one you find on a walkman
