"Not Enough Memory" message on my 2000XL, how do I fix it

I get a not enough memory on my XL, when I try to load samples, how do I fix it or what do I need to get to resolve the problem.

how many samples are you trying to load up? is it not letting you load even 1 sample? or are you just reaching your max?? if you have a bunch of samples already loaded into it and you get that message, sounds like you need to buy some extra memory

What kind of memory do I need and is there away to erase whatever is in the MPC

i think you could search the forums and find the answer to your memory question...if not here then google

and yes there is a way to clear all sounds from memory and start a new beat. your manual should tell you that

but i go into TRIM mode, highlight the name field, hit open window, erase all samples.
then i go into PROGRAM mode, highlight the name field, hit open window, erase all programs

all this is easy stuff that can probably be found in your manual
