MPC 2000 >ZIP

I got a MPC 200 classic and i just got an iomega zip drive from craigslist from a friend who says it was just working fine on his XL. on the MPC on the connection menu it skips SCSI 6. but either way it doesent seem to want to read the zip at all, I dont know now if this is a problem with the zip or with the MPC. if anyone has any ideas what might be the problem

Maybe try 5 instead of 6.

Set your zip drive to ID#5
and the termination to ON





Your cable goes into the port marked ZIP
Make sure the mpc and zip are switched off before plugging the SCSI cable in.

Are you sure that you don't have a paralell (as opposed to a SCSI) zip?

It's a 250 but, it's very similar to the 100.

Any SCSI zip should have those two switches and the SCSI symbol.
