the frickin zip drive wont work with my mpc 2000...

i just got the crap on ebay and nothings happening. it wont load or save. everytime i go to find the zip drive, it says wait. i've been waiting for an hour. please help before find the clown that sold me this stuff.

It's a scsi zip drive? Set the scsi id # to something other than 5 or 6.

ok. i get it. i have a scsi drive and a para-whatever. i need a scsi cable. the clown said he was send three different cables but i only got two. thanks tho.

OH, ok, the drive you have is a combo, parallel/scsi drive correct?

Combo drives are not guaranteed to work, it says so in the manuals.

Parallel cables will NEVER work with the drive.

U can try scsi cables but it may/may not work due to the drive itself being a combo drive.

The parallel cable is for the computer to drive hookup.
