Mine is 3 years plus and still looks new. I ONLY take it out the bag when I make a beat/song. Other than that it STAYS in the Calvin Klein half inch padded shoulder bag I bought from Macys. Perfect fit just like a big laptop.

I was in the same dilemma. I heard these rumors that the blue mpc's were rehabs. I called akai & they said that the grey mpc is no longer being made. It's all blue now!
