Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi. I have a program in one folder and when i change some of the sounds in the program i resave it and replace the previous version in the folder. When i turn off my mpc and load it back up again, it hasnt saved the version i just made, i keep having to do it all over again. My only solution is to save the program in another folder and delete the previous one, and keep doing this everytime i edit a program.

Does anyone know why it does this?

Also i am trying to delete the program from the folder and it seems to only be deleting the program file. Is there anyway to make it delete the program file and the files related to that program only?

Thanks for your time all,

Ben

Are you changing the sounds in the Trim screen? If so, you'll have to overwrite it

i usually erase the whole program and sounds (and seq) and resave it all.
go to disk, go to program and sounds, hit open window and there's an option to erase one sound or erase all.
