black knob freezes up

I've got a problem with akai mpc2000xl sometimes when I'm using black knob / data whell (akai mpc 2000xl) - freezes up, and I can't operate- I have to switch off the unit.. How can I fix that??

you can always try cleaning it. just open it up and use a can of air or whatever to do the job.

that has happen to me too befor what you have to do is open it and make sure the buttons are clean and if your running a zip drive make sure it's hooked up properly, i checked all those things and kleened the inside and it hasnt done it since.

it might work ttry it out.

always open the machine when your on the kicthen floor less static there.
