internal zip drive model

is the internal zip a generic model or is it a specialised akai one? just wondering if i can get it cheaper than the $130 ive seen it advertised at. thanks.

yeah nice thx, also does an internal drive load samples quicker than one connected by a scsi lead?

The speed difference is so small it's not even noticeable and doesn't actually matter.
