hi all,
i have a question regarding midi channels and sequencing on the mpc using virtual instruments through (in my case) nuendo 3.
i have the midi output A hooked up to the midi input on my daw. i then create a track in nuendo and assign it to the appropriate input (the one my mpc is hooked in on). then i inserted battery. i assigned kiks to channel 1 in battery, hats to channel 2 in battery, and snare to channel 3 in battery.
i then assigned track 1 in the mpc to chan1, 2 to chan2 and 3 to chan 3. i put it on "M" for multi record. the problem is now my mpc pads only control the track that is selected on the mpc screen. is there a reason i can't play multiple channels at once?
thanks,
Dan
