MPC2000XL autoloads beat ...

whats good...

lately my mp automatically loads up the first beat on my cf card when i turn it on.. i could swear it didnt do that before but i'm not sure though...
it surely didnt do thaqt with the zips..

of course i can just pull the card out before turning it on but there must be a way to set that right?

anybody know what i'm talking about??

Put each song project w/ samples in it's own folder.

Check your autoload options, refer to your manual.

YOu probably have a all programs and sequences saved on the card, mine loads it automatically if its saved there. I just back it up on the computer and delete it off the card

Autoload is in the manual and it shows you how to turn it on/off on the 2kxl. It's not rocket science.

Go to your loading screen, press F4 (setup). You'll see the auto loading option. Set to OFF.

its all good fellas.. i always stored my projects in individual folders
now i just accidentally saved an APS file in the "ROOT" folder
and as it seems the autoload function is activated by default..

i just put the files back into their folder where they belong and everything works like it should..

Yeah, it's default autoload.

Loads the first APS and ALL it finds in root.
