tracking the classic MPC 2000 to an iMac

I'm getting Logic Pro for an iMac so I can track out my classic MPC 2000 beats onto computer. Are there any issues that I might need to know?? I tried the search feature but I didn't find what I was looking for.

you will need some sort of midi interface for the mac to sync it up with the mpc. and some sort of audio interface to record the actual sound into the machine.

I'm thinking about getting the M-audio Projectmix board to control Logic and recording audio. What MIDI interface would you recommend???

You DONT NEED midi. To do tracking. ... But for a midi/audio combo.

depends what your needs are. Budget. etc.

Anything from MOTU. Mbox2 is cool, and some M-audio stuff.
