that i want to buy

It has two scsi connections...what i was thinking of doing is connecting one of those outputs to the mpc obviously.

Is there a way with a SCSI to USB connector like this:

To be able to use the other scsi connection and connect it to my apple mac mini at the same time..so that i will be able to write to the jaz disc w my mac mini..then turn on the mpc and it can read the jaz disc as well.

If not i'll probably buy two. Im tryna think of the best option to store data for the money.

Well, if you're pretty handy I'd get a cardreader instead of the jaz drive(s). Installing a card reader in an xl is really easy. Installing a card reader in a classic is harder, but doable...

There are topics on both installations in this forum.

To the best of my knowledge, you can daisy chain SCSI devices to each other, but you cannot connect 1 SCSI device to two different "host" devices.

straight up bro scsi and usb are totally different systems

DONT MESS WITH USB

this machine is strictly scsi,

ive heard rumours of overloading your scsi connection within the xl trying to use adapters and such.

word. get a card reader or scsi harddrive.

the mp is only made to be able to handle about 4G worth of memory, you can try more but it just cant locate any more space.
