my mpc is no longer working with vista

i have windows vista use to have windows xp but when i use my mpc 2000xl and reasons it no longer is recognized by my computer or i am just havent been able to use it even as a midi controller for reasons does anybody have the same problem and yes i have downloaded the new driver that they made off on m-audio's site. it worked just fine for my windows xp but now i cant use my mpc and thats my baby can anyone help please. also i knew how to hook it up to my windows xp and i followed the same steps that were given in the reasons and mpc tutorial trust me it used to work i had no issues now i do. my equipment is an m-audio axiom 61, usb uno from m-audio and my baby girl mpc 2000xl thanks you in advance everyone.

here's some steps to follow

1) uninstall windows vista
2) reinstall windows XP
3) forget about the problems you had with vista

i plugged the midi out of my mpc into the floppy drive and vista wont recognise it, can some1 tell me if bill gates is on smack?
