I have a keyboard hooked up threw midi to my mpc2000xl It used to work where I could play a bass or any type of note from my keyboard and it would rec as long as it was set to midi on my mpc and what ever the midi cable in the back was hooked to like A, or B but now when I try to rec my bass lines or synth it wont rec I can play it on my keyboard but it won't rec and play back in the loop. I can play the piano keys on the mpc pads but when I change the program on the keyboard to another intsrament it still just plays the piano on the pads. I can rec the midi if I use the pads but the pads only play the piano it use to work but not any more can some one help.
