MPC 2000 vs Diva Zip Drives.

Hello one and all,

I've gone through 3 Zip Drives who have all kept my disks prisoners. More importantly, they're my start up disks!

How do I go about getting them out without smashing them apart?

There should be a miniature hole somewhere on the drive. If you insert a pin or maybe a paperclip into the hole and push gently when you feel resistance, it will release the mechanism that holds the disk in.

If you have an external scsi drive, then go to the rear of the drive, and above the right port, you will see a small hole. Gently insert a paper clip to push the slide mechanism to eject the zip disk.

If you have an internal zip drive, then the small hole is located on the front of the drive (upper right-hand side). Perform the same procedure here.
