Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Has this ever happened to you? This is the first time since I got my mpc 2000 classic it's done this. It probably is a ram issue due to the fact my floppy drives been getting squirly too.

Also if this is of any more help to my issue.I wasn't recording any samples at that time only listening with the sample screen open.

That sucks.Thankfully for me I only chopped up a 4 bar sample into 1/4 notes before it locked up,so it wasn't too hard to duplicate.

I had the same problem...
take out the RAM and clean it , clean the socket from the dust.... at worst you 'll have to replace one or all the banks...

For an update it hasn't froze on me since. Everythings working like it's fine now.I didn't do anything to it either. :?

this has happend to me

with a couple of other problems in just getting my mpc up and working been having fuzz problems to when i load the samples i take off my vinyl i start to play the note i samples then after like 5 minutes the noise sounds fuzzy every time

my 2k has froze on me 4 times sample from switching to analog to digital and in the middle while im takeing the sample
