What Do you guys do to sample on the mpc 2000?

I just take the record, and Speed it up with my hand REAL Fast. And Just tune it down.

What about ya'll?

Well when I am working with the mpc2000, I often smear the vinyl with vaseline. Gives the sample that grainy underwater quality just like the pro's on their hit records.

pre-cum works well too.

I use my ass sweat much better doesn't cause build up

i go to "sample" then hit record......

Usually I sample from a microphone with your mother moaning in the back as I bang her. Works great for me.
