two partitions

What's up people?
I have a Microtech PCD-47B (external) connected to my MPC2000. I use a Kingston 1gb cf-card, which I formatted on my MPC. The problem is the MPC made two partitions (A & B), both 500 mb. I only can read one of the partitions on my Apple G5. How can I read the other partition on my computer, or format it with only one full size partition?

Not sure if you can, unless you can format it on your G5 and partition it there, and I don't think that's possible. I have a similar setup with a 512MB Kingston in the PCMCIA slot through a PCMCIA-to-CF adapter, that I use as a boot disk and work disk, and a 1GB Crucial CF card in the CF slot. I only use the Crucial card to transfer samples and programs from MPCEditor from my PC to the MPC.

I formatted the card on a Windows computer with the FAT file sytem (not FAT32). Now I can use one full size partition on the MPC. The MPC used to recognize the card as HD, now it's PC. One problem solved!

I'd still like to know how I can read all the partitions in Windows/OSX of a cf card formatted wit the MPC. Windows/OSX only recognizes the first partition The remaining mb's of the non-visible partitions are unpartitioned according to Windows... Does somebody have an answer?

Which OS are you using?
I had that problem when I used OS 1.2. I reinstalled OS 1.14 and now I can see parts A-Z partitions.
