Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By MPCBeginner30 Thu Sep 27, 2007 12:51 pm
Ok so I haven't had the MPC2000 Classic for too long and I'm still getting familiar with it, one thing I am wondering however is, how do I get my creations over to my computer? I mean I know how to save and so on onto my zip drive but what I haven't figured out is, when I create a great sequence of a sample/drum on the mpc, how do I save THAT sequence/song/loop whatever you wanna call it, onto my zip drive so i can actually PLAY the song on my computer, is it possible to make this song a wav? yeah well you guys probably get my point, because I know how to save a program/all sequences and songs and so on, but a ".all" file ain't doing much for me, I guess everyone on here has been thinking about this as a beginner,

Hope y'all can help me out,

Peace

you'll have to record it into your pc

outs of mpc ----> ins of soundcard

Open up some recording software and press record. Simple as that...

first u gotta decide what program your going to record with on the pc (logic, pro tools, etc..)..then u need an interface of some sort to get the output of the mpc into the pc (mbox, firebox, etc..)then pretty much it just plug and play (or in your case record)
