Disk read error when reading boot disk for mpc 2000

soo just recieved an mpc 2000 from ebay...didnt come with boot disk soo i bought one from ebay as well....put it in and turn it on....the screen reads Disk Read Error

anyone know what is going on?

yea i got that one from my boot disc.....but if you want i can rip one of my mine and send it to you or somthing

didnt try this disc on my mpc...but i gots like enough bootdiscs...so if it dont work just let me know and i'll try another one forya....

but yea just copy the files into a floppy.....

i have the 1.72 os boot disk...and on the start up screen it says the machine has the 1.00 os

if you boot the mpc2000 with the 1.72 os, then upon booting (starting up the mpc), it should read 1.72 os. this is the most updated os.
