Help i have a midi problem w/ my mpc2000, JV1080.

Okay...my

1. CME UF5 Midi controller only has a midi output port.
2. Roland JV-1080 has 3 ports: midi in/out/thru
3. Obviously the mpc 2000 has two midi in and out ports.

Can somebody guide me on how i should hook it up. Thanks for the help.

I love it..i used to have a roland xp-50 back in the day..and i sold it like a dummy..then i had to have those classic jv sounds again..so i bought the rack..its got a wide pallete of sounds..its my bread and butter go to rack.

I also got a Oberheim Matrix 6 Rack as well for some analog flavor.

Yeah I so wanna get one...Still having doubts about either the 1080 or the 2080. The 1080 seems like a better deal these days. Just waiting till I see a good deal on one with some decent expansion boards...

Do you have some expansion boards? If so which ones and how you like 'em?

both jv's i've owned (880 and 2080) were just great. very nice sounds. and the 2080 was PACKED wit 'em

I have a JV-1010... It's dope.... The only thing I want to learn about it is The SysEx Data transfer so I can save the settings....
