problem wit mpc and fantom recording

when i try to record midi with mpc as the master..i record a melody with one sound and then when i change to another sound and press play..it plays back the melody with the new sound even tho i havent recorded nutin with the new sound instead of the original intended sound..someone please help me

Of course it will play the same melody with the new sound man, since you are still using THE SAME SEQUENCE. Change sequences, midi channels and sound and you're ok.
