you must be joking... but if not hold the tap tempo when you hold a pad and whatever quantization ur set on the note will repeat..

It's one of the best features!
If you press shift-tab the noterepeat is on hold so you can play the pads with both hands.

Take a non-rythmic sample, say a vocal line.
In prog mode, open window on the amp envelope.
Set vel>start to 100, and vel>volume to 0.
Switch off full level if it is on.
Start a sequence and hold down the pad while pressing note repeat.
As you press softer and harder on the pad, you go to different parts of the sample, all in time with the tempo.
Also if you have an extra finger available use it on the data wheel (highlight timing) to change the timing as you play. Or use shift as in the post above.
Great fun once you get the hang of it!
