Problem with CF & Windows XP

Hello, im new to this forum. First of all sorry for my english because im spanish, is not my language.

I have an MPC 2000XL with an internal card reader that works great. The problem is when i create a program in the mpc, save it to the CF and load into my PC with windows XP. All works fine but when i put the CF card back in the MPC and try to load the program allways says that some file is missing from the program.

I think it had to be something with overwriting some sounds because of their names but im not shure. Someone have that problem too? Any solution? Thanks in advance.

Check if the names of your files are longer than 8 characters. If there are filenames longer than 8 characters, that's the problem.

Wow, thx for that quick response!. I tryed to put short names on programs and now just works fine. My question now is how the *** do you organize?
