Remedial Sample question on the MPC 2000

I have a few sample loaded in my MPC 2000 and when I hit the pads twice in a row the overlap eachother. I want it to start the whole sample over when I hit the pad and stop the tail end from keeping on playing..
i have the manual but if someone could help me out real quick i would appreciate it..

Then you need to set the pads to note off.

I checked the manual and played around with it for a while. What menu is it in? Ican;t find it.
