Hard drive limitations on MPC-2000

I am curious as to the hard drive size limitations on the mpc-2000 (original)...What is the maximum size that the MPC-2000 (MPC2000) can accept? I thought I read somewhere that it was only 512 MB, is this true? Thanks, J

The maximum is 1 gig, I got one off ebay that works great. Mine is a Quantum Fireball 1 gig, if that helps you to see what brands are compatible.
