help with spdif digital in......

Got a big problem. I have been using my spdif in and now is playing up. All i get is a static. I am not able to sample cd`s which is my main source of samples. I thinking it is a internal problem maybe sodering or something. If any one has any ideas of what it could be. Please let me no thanks.

You'll have to do some troubleshooting to find out where the problem lies.

Try a different cable. You can use RCA video cable, although this is not ideal for long term use.

Connect your mpc to a different source, a DVD player for example.

Connect your CD to a different input as well if you can to see if there is a problem with the CD digi out.
