who would format their zip disks in akai format? i thought FAT was standard.
anywho.. there is a utility within nortin called "disk doctor" also "speed disk" that help to work the problems out of troublesome disks. it's not a solid answer but it works alot of the time.
"speed disk" is the best though cause it can move data from different physical portions of the disk and defrags as well. you can also choose to move different folders to portions of the disk. however, there are other recover utilities around so do a search on google. also, peep out posts about the click of death that have been in this forum and resource iomega.com
