mpc2000xl data wheel problem

Hi everyone,

I'm finding that often when I'm using my data wheel in an anti-clockwise direction, it is still operating as though I was spinning it clockwise, until it finally starts working after 2-3 full spins.

Has anyone else encountered/fixed this problem?
