Time Stretching/Autochromatic Assign Question..

So I have a sample that I like loaded in to the mpc...

I want to use the original tone of the sample, and then I would like to use a higher and lower pitch of the same sample without having the tempo go faster/slower..

Is there a way to time stretch the sample and then autochromatic assign?..So that even if the pitch is higher/lower it will still play at the same tempo..

I'm really confused..any help will do..

just peeped the video tommyj, so your telling me it really can't be done anyway on the 2000xl? that sucks..anyone else know any alternatives
