My MPC 2000xl gets stuck at the 8th bar

My MPC 2000xl gets stuck at the 8th bar and just repeats over and over again. What's wrong with it? What can I do if anything to fix it? I've tried reinstalling the OS, different version and everything.

Help Please!!!

on the main screen put your curser on the loop setting.press open window & check loop setting there.

What should the loop setting be set too? It makes a sound like a pad is being hit over and over again.

set first bar to 1 & last bar to end
