what are everyone's thoughts on what is the most affordable storage method, ie: zip discs, floppy, flash, cd, external hd, etc.

Compact flash. Zips and floppies may be cheaper,but the also quit working before compact flash because floppies and zips have moving parts. Really no need for a harddrive when compact flash cards are about the same size and are removable.Cd's are out because you can only load from them.

he said you would save yourself from getting headaches by going with the compact flash. And i agree 100% Compact flash is the way to go. It all works but that is by far the best option IMO.

I said it WOULD SAVE U a ton of headaches basically meaning u wouldnt have to deal with the issues u get from floppy and zip disks.

i think they are reffering to the electro magneic radiotion that comes outta the flash drive, it can cause head aches / tumours and seizures. SO use them at your own risk.

what i don't understand is are you guys installing CF readers into the units or do they sit externally like zip using scsi?
