Playing A Sequence and Sampling

is there a way to play a sequence and sample at the same time? i loved that about the 1000... kind of cool to listen to what you have going, while trying find other sounds from other records to go with it.

hope there's a way. the help would be appreciated.

as far as I know yo are out of luck.

I just have a 4 ch. mixer and play my vinyl over top of a recorded drum loop, bassline, or other sample from my 2kxl. When I find something that sounds crisp, I stop the loop playing out on the mp and start sampling.
