Type II CF Cards. Do they work?

What's up everyone,

So i just bought a Card Reader for my 2000XL. The item code is "PSI-IIC". I checked under a list of compatible/non-compatible drives with the MPC and I think its legit, but it only has a Type II CF card slot. Will Type II work? Or do I need to get a drive that takes Type I?

Update: Ok I see that the drive works, but i've heard that 2kXL's won't work with cards that are any larger than 1GB.

Does anyone know if this is different with Type II? Thus, if I get like a 2GB Type II card is it not gonna work?

i think with o.s. 1.20 the xl will read cf's over 1 gig.

does that card reader work good? i was thinking of buying me one of these

yea me too. i'd love to buy one right now but i'm nervous about the whole compatible thing. and can we use the cards over 1gb. i keep getting conflicting info. too much of a headache still lingering from the stupid zip drive i have in my 2kxl.
