Could you describe the JUNO-D’s Patch mode and Performance mode?
When playing the JUNO-D, you’ll use one of the following two modes:
Patch mode--is used to play one patch or rhythm set. You’ll most often use this mode when you play the JUNO-D in a band or a solo performance. When the JUNO-D is powered on, it automatically starts up in Patch mode. From other modes, you can return to Patch mode at any time by pressing [PATCH].
In Patch mode, all three built-in effects processors are available to process a patch. The JUNO-D allows you to easily select and edit patches, and to store your edits to user memory locations.
Performance mode--allows the JUNO-D to simultaneously play up to 16 different patches and/or rhythm sets. This is great for playing multiple patches at once from the keyboard, creating one massive sound. You’ll also use Performance mode when playing with the Rhythm Guide, and when you use the JUNO-D with an external MIDI sequencer. To select Performance mode, press [PERFORM] so its indicator is lit.
In Performance mode, the three built-in effects processors are shared by the performance’s 16 parts. Up to eight user performances can be stored onboard the JUNO-D. [/b]
