FAT errors

What's the best way to format a Zip for the MPC?
Current Problem: All zip disks are gradually failing with FAT errors. Only one uncorrupt disk left.

Anyone else have this problem?

Is it best to format it as FAT on a PC and then use it or to just format it on the MPC. The MPC format doesn't seem too thorough.

I format on the MPC before transfering files between PC and MPC.
I usually don't have any problems.

Make sure you keep disks away from magnets/ speakers.

For some reason, when trying to copy hella samples to a zip drive on a PC, I keep getting a "full capacity" messege. The weird thing about is that I'll only see 51 or so Megebytes used up on a 100mb disk. Have you guyz ever had this problem
