Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Im trying to drag sounds from my computer to my zip drive through a SCSI cable.
I selected my drums and sounds and drag to the drive.
The sounds are in Wave Sound Format.
It starts to drag some then stops.
It says Error, "Cannot Copy : The Directory or File Cannot Be Created".
I try to drag other sounds and everyone I attempt to drag to the drive says the error message.
I still have about 70mb of space left on the disk.
Why is it doing this?

Thanks

give us more details about your computer - zip drive setup.

are you using a pc or mac?

does your computer have a scsi card? sometimes the parallel port is easily confused for the scsi port.

is your zip drive parallel or scsi?

describe your scsi cable? are both connector ends gray in color or is one blue and the other gray?

are you copying the wav sounds one a time or ALL at the same time?

is it a 100MB or 250MB zip disk? what format type did you use before copying anything?

sorry for asking so many questions but the more detail you provide, the better it would possibly help yo solve your problem on this forum.
