2 questions...

hi.
2 questions:
1) how copy sequence (or track) to pad? i want play sequences on a pads
2) i have midi interface and i want connect mpc2000xl with pc, this is possible??

Buy yourself a ASR-10 cause those can do what you want!

lol. Answer of the day.

youll have to re record your sequences to samples, and trigger them as phrases from the pads. there is a pad mode in the next seq key, but i odnt think this is what your after.
yeh you should be able to controller your pc from the mpc and vice versa, over midi. youll work it out. im sure.

how do this? any software? VST?

yo jonestown your like a door to door manual salesman. its your first respons to every post. not every one learns the same way. i hate manuals cause most of them are worthless. but then again i knew how to use my mpc after 2 hours of owning it. and had it pretty much mastered after about 2 days.

what you need is a cheap daw like acid. google it and youll find it. record your sequences into your computer with acid. then save them as .wav files and load them back into the mpc. then you can assign each one to its own pad. and vst's are just virtual synths. its a plugin you use in programs like nuendo. get a midi interface to hook up your mpc to the computer and you can control the software with your hardware.

I reply "read the manual" 90% of the time because 90% of the guys asking questions havent even tried to read it, they just expect someone to give them the answer. I swear, you could probably make a living going around setting up dudes ish for them and teaching them how to use it. I learned most of my 2kxl in 2 hours as well without any help, except the manual!! I copped my MP in '02.....I didnt sign up to this site until last year, I felt like I was in a slump and needed some fresh ideas so I came here. I wasnt asking things like "how do I plug my tech 1200's into my mpc?" or "can I use midi to connect my mpc to my computer?"
