pro tools7.0, mbox (1) and mpc200xl on windows xp

i just loaded pro tools 7.0 onto my laptop and I have the older mbox...everything appears to be hooked up correctly but i am not able to record anything...the protools is not reading the mp...if u cant tell im new to all this, but i also have a lexicon lambda i used with cubase and had no problems getting a signal.....im basically asking for help in the trouble shooting because have the slightest clue.

make sure you have the device settings correct in protools. you should select the mbox from the list to use as the interface.
