MPC and Fruity Loops

Is it possible to use the FL-sounds on the MPC?

I dont know where to search for it, because in the manuals I did not find anything...

my good friend, does only this. chops all his loops back onto his mpc, for live playback and triggering. very creative.

I'd use it strictly for making melodies via midi and some light sample processing. For sequencing, strictly MPC.

I had installed fl 6 and 7, went into the program directory and found all the wavs, converted most of them (some didn't wanna act right) to 44/16, loaded them into mpc, triton, works fine, I had to layer some of them heavy though, that's cool, I was going to do that anyway. But I wanted to be able to use them in case I needed them, works fine for me...

Im in the process of doing this also. With a proper external soundcard for my laptop...

...you can use the plug-ins, VSTi, and great with keyboard triggering. Id use it strictly for the effects.

Okay, so do I have to convert the files...?!
...isnt it possible to play them via midi, just like on a midi keyboard?

1) If you want to go from FL to MPC, just make sure you have a good soundcard because a) no latency lags b) for the midi connection (which means having a soundcard with a midi connection)


2) I believe you can go from FL (PC) to Midi Keyboard to MPC. This makes playing a lot easier with keyboard while triggering the sounds from FL and recording with MPC.


FL is great with the MPC. dont use it for the drums (unless you layer them like lampdog). But to take advantage of its virtual synth!!!

@1: I have a Audiophile 2496 installed in my PC

@2: My Midi-Keyboard has only one Midi-Out... its the M-Audio Keystation, dont know if it is possible to connect the keyboard the way you told me


But it isnt possible to connect the MPC with the PC and play the sounds on the pads, without recording them or converting them?


btw... sorry for my bad english, my last english lesson is long ago xD
