Hey. Copying this from the soundonsound.com forums - it's not myself asking the question, but it seems the bloke needs all the help he can get:

"Hi. My MPC 2000 crashed with the message "DIV.error at 3000:F4" and now refuses to start up. It gets some way into the start-up and then crashes and freezes. This happened for the first time about a week ago, and I assumed it was the floppy disk itself that was knackered. After turning the scsi zip drive off and on and trying to re-start about 50 times, it did start up. So I copied the start-up disk to another floppy. Since then it's been no trouble. But if it's not the disk itself I'm seriously worried as I'm supposed to be gigging with it tomorrow night. I also backed-up the boot files to zip - but the MPC seems to want to only boot from the floppy drive. PLEASE HELP!"

The poor bugger has a sound check in three hours. Hope anybody can help!
