Here's the situation:
I get a sample. I press TRIM. I chop it up into 7 zones. I press
edit-->Slice sound-->Create new program:YES.
My sample is chopped up beautifully across the first 7 pads. Perfect.
This I can do. But here is the Problem:
I find a Bass line off another record. I press TRIM. I chop it into 1 zone. I press edit-->Create New Program:YES.
My bass line is on the first pad. Perfect. Except....Now the sample I had across the first 7 pads has been erased!
I understand that in EDIT, I can choose "Create new program:NO" But then how do i get that Bass line (or any other sample for that matter) onto an open pad?
Sorry to make this post so long. I just wanted to include enough info for you guys/girls.
I would greatly appreciate any information. Thanks for your time. Peace.
