Mpc stuck on "wait"

was up guys! mpc stuck on "wait" i have the zip drive . i was play with the pads i heard lot of static in the headphone and then there was the "wait" sign and im still waiting .. i turn the power on and off still waiting what should i do.. Help

does it read something like "waiting for mpc disk" ??
